A 250 Recessed Plate is a specially designed plate for filter presses. It has one or more sunken areas on its surface. These recessed parts are for forming and holding the solid cake that comes from the filtration process.
When the filter press works, we arrange the 250 Recessed Plate alternately with other plates (which can be flat or have a raised design). This makes multiple filter chambers. We put filter cloth or paper inside these chambers. When we pump the material to be filtered into these chambers, the liquid goes out through the filter cloth. Meanwhile, the solid particles get caught by the filter cloth and form a filter cake.
