Company Information
Founded in 1998, Jingjin Environmental Protection Inc. is a comprehensive environmental protection service provider specializing in the production of filtration equipment, offering complete filtration technology solutions, and undertaking environmental protection projects. As a vice-president unit of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, Jingjin is also the primary drafter of national standards for filter presses and filter plates. For twelve consecutive years, Jingjin has maintained the largest production capacity and sales volume of filter presses worldwide, with products sold in 123 countries and regions. The Jingjin trademark has been recognized as a “Famous Chinese Trademark” by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China and is protected by the Madrid International Trademark Registration. Water Jiang, the chairman of Jingjin, has been honored as a National Labor Model and National Model Worker.
Jingjin is dedicated to the development of energy conservation and environmental protection, providing consumers with cost-effective products and professional quality services. To meet higher filtration requirements, Jingjin introduced a complete set of German filter cloth production lines and technology. Leveraging 27 years of filtration experience, Jingjin uses heavy German rapier looms to weave the finest silk threads into high-density filter cloth with various hole patterns, employing a beating-up force of 0.3-3.5 tons after each weft crosses the warp. This results in Jingjin filter cloth having 50% more filtration holes per unit area compared to other filter cloths, significantly improving filtration speed. The filter cloth is woven under constant temperature and humidity conditions, eliminating fabric burrs caused by static electricity.
Most importantly, the monofilament filter cloth enables automatic detachment of filter cakes, solving a long-standing issue in the industry.
In pursuit of its China Dream, Jingjin strives to become the most influential comprehensive service provider in the global environmental protection sector. With the mission of “Protecting the Environment and Beautifying China” and the green strategy of “Turning Sewage into Pure Water and Sludge into Resources,” Jingjin provides profound solutions for eco-environmental protection and economic development, ensuring clean water and blue skies for future generations.
Your smile is our commitment! Jingjin will always be your best friend!
Membrane Filter Press
A membrane filter press is a type of filter press that incorporates an elastic membrane positioned between the filter plate and the filter cloth. During operation, once the feeding process is complete, high-pressure fluid or gaseous medium can be injected into the diaphragm plate. This causes the entire diaphragm to expand and press against the filter cake, achieving further dehydration through a process known as squeeze filtration.
Applications of Membrane Filter Press
Membrane filter presses are favored for their high pressing pressure, excellent corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance, safety, and reliability. They are the preferred choice for customers in industries such as metallurgy, gas, papermaking, coking, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, brewing, and fine chemicals. These presses are widely used in various fields requiring solid-liquid separation and are considered an upgraded alternative to traditional chamber filter presses. Membrane filter presses excel in processing capacity per unit area, reducing filter cake moisture, and adapting to the properties of the materials being processed.
Membrane Filter Press vs. Ordinary Chamber Filter Press
The primary distinction between a membrane filter press and an ordinary chamber filter press is the presence of two elastic membranes on both sides of the filter plate (with the composite rubber diaphragm being an integral membrane). During operation, after the feeding process is complete, high-pressure fluid medium can be injected into the diaphragm plate. This causes the diaphragm to expand and press against the filter cake, achieving further dehydration through squeeze filtration.
Membrane filter presses are particularly effective in sludge and sewage treatment, achieving filter cake moisture content below 60%. Compared to traditional chamber filter presses, the highest solid content of the filter cake can be increased by more than two times, significantly reducing transportation costs. The filter cake can be directly incinerated in power plants, effectively turning sludge into resources and sewage into clear water, thus completely replacing the van filter press.
Advantages and Design
Due to their superior filtration performance, membrane filter presses are widely used in industries such as mining, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. To meet the diverse requirements of industrial and municipal applications, Jingjin’s membrane filter press adopts a modular design similar to box filter presses. The robust and durable steel frame of the filter press comprises several main components: a feed table with a filtrate outlet (head piece), a hydraulic table with a locking cylinder (press block), a beam, and separate membrane filter plates for the side rails, including filter cloth. The plate pack consists of uniform membrane plates with a 15-50 mm cutout (optional mixing chamber membrane filter plates) to accommodate the puncture-resistant filter cake. Standard membrane materials include polypropylene (PP), synthetic rubber (such as NBR, EPDM), or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Special materials like PVDF are also available.
Membrane Filter Press Technology
Membrane filter presses significantly impact the dryness of solids by utilizing membrane technology in the filter plate. Compared to traditional filtration processes, they achieve the lowest residual moisture values in the filter cake, making them the most powerful and widely used systems. Special materials such as PVDF are also available. Membrane filter presses have a great influence on the dryness of solids by using membrane technology in the filter plate. Compared with the traditional filtration process, it achieves the lowest residual moisture value in the filter cake. This makes the membrane filter press the most powerful and widely used system.
