Design of inlet and outlet pipelines for filter tanks

1. Flow requirements: Determine the size of the pipeline according to the treatment capacity of the filter tank to ensure that it can meet the maximum flow requirements.
2. Pipeline materials: Select pipeline materials suitable for the treated medium, considering corrosion resistance, temperature resistance and cost.
3. Connection method: Determine the connection method between the pipeline and the filter tank, such as flange connection, threaded connection or welding, to ensure the sealing and stability of the connection.
4. Pipeline layout: When designing the pipeline layout, the shortest straight line distance should be considered, and the number of elbows and joints should be reduced to reduce pressure loss and potential blockage points.
5. Water flow direction: Clarify the inlet and outlet water direction to ensure smooth water flow and avoid dead ends or short circuits.
6. Backwash design: If the filter tank requires a backwash function, the design should include a backwash pipeline and a corresponding valve control system.
7. Pressure and flow rate: Calculate the pressure drop and flow rate in the pipeline to ensure that the system operates at the design pressure and flow rate to avoid excessive wear or blockage.
